LIFE CHURCH FAMILY
IT’S TIME—TIME TO OPEN THE DOORS!!

We are so excited to finally be able to meet in person! We have been given the official green light from the government and the YWCA for us to be able to gather together IN PERSON. We are committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety.  To make that possible, our services have been redesigned to create a sanitary, touch-less environment that allows for physical distancing.  We realize that some may be a little apprehensive about returning at this time, so will also continue to livestream all of our services for those who are unable to attend right now.
KidsLife
At this time, we will have family style church at our Greater Lafayette location.  Your child (of any age) will be able to join you in the auditorium for a family-friendly experience. We understand that children make noise, and that's okay! Here are some helpful tips to make it a great time for them:
  1. We will have activity bags for the children.  They include an activity sheet with the KidsLife lesson for that particular week, a color sheet and a small toy.
  2. Bring a tablet or mobile device and a pair of headphones – during the experience your child can visit thelc.church/kids-life and watch this weekend’s KidsLife lesson.
Staff and Volunteers
•All staff and volunteers will be screened upon entry.
•All staff and volunteers will wear masks and gloves when appropriate.
Entrances
•You will be able to enter the building only through the main front lobby doors at the YWCA.
•Greeters will open the door and all handles and crash bars will be cleaned periodically during the day.
•Hand sanitizer will be available for your convenience.
•If you do not have a mask and would like one, we will have some available upon request.
Lobbies/Restrooms
•Please do not congregate in lobbies.
•We ask that at this time you exit the building immediately following the service and fellowship outside the building.
•No water fountains will be open or useable.
•Restrooms will be available for emergency use only at this time.
Auditorium/Service Time
•Please allow a host to seat you and your family.
•No items will be passed down the row during service.
•Please allow a host to dismiss you at the end of our service.
•The auditorium will be closed once all guests have exited to clean all armrests, doors, handrails, etc.
How Can You Help?
•Please be understanding of the fact that these are unusual times and require adjustments for us all.  This will be the NEW NORM moving forward...at least for a while, so we ask that you work with us as we endeavor to adjust to the consistently changing guidelines.
•If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us online.
•Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.
•We encourage you to wear a mask while on our campus. We will have free disposable masks available should you need one.
•Please wash your hands and sanitize often.
•Give a wave or a smile instead of a hug or a handshake.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SUNDAY!!!

LIFE CHURCH CORONAVIRUS UPDATE | MARCH 17, 2020
Life Church Family,
With the ongoing health concerns due to the Coronavirus, the Leadership Team at Life Church has decided to NOT hold public services for the rest of the month of March.  Instead, we are moving all of our services ONLINE.
After prayer and analyzing current updated government mandates, we have chosen to exercise wisdom and honor the request of the federal, state and local leadership to limit intentional gatherings to no more than 10 people in a single space. As your leaders, we believe we have a responsibility to do what is prudent and in the best interest of every person who calls our church home.
While we are saddened to not meet together in our spaces, we value the health and safety of everyone. We believe in being proactive in this time and in leading the way in our community by being steady and responding to this situation with a calm confidence, as we focus on ministering to people in our own church and to all those around us.
Our Leadership Team will continue to monitor the situation day by day and will keep all of you informed as to when our in-person services will resume. Feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook (@thelc.church) or continue to check-in by visiting this page for updates.

Life Church Family, let’s not forget that church is not a building, but a body of believers. We are a family and each one of us makes up the church. So, as a church, we now have an opportunity to gather together online each weekend to get updates, engage in the message, respond in worship and to get opportunities to give towards people who are in need in this community!

We know God is not at all surprised by what’s happening, and we believe He has a plan and that He is going to use His church in some powerful ways in the lives of people around us.

Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Our services will be available on multiple platforms this weekend, so we hope you will join us.

Be sure to follow us on Social Media as we will have daily updates, worship, devotions and links to all sorts of resources and happenings here at Life Church!

Sincerely,
Your Pastors and the Leadership Team at Life Church
