COVID-19 UPDATE

LIFE CHURCH FAMILY
IT’S TIME—TIME TO OPEN THE DOORS!!

We are so excited to finally be able to meet in person! We have been given the official green light from the government to come together.
We are committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety.  To make that possible, our services have been redesigned to create a sanitary, touchless environment that allows for physical distancing. This includes a significantly reduced capacity in our auditorium.
At this time, we are required to limit attendance to no more than 100 in each service. We realize that some may be a little apprehensive about returning at this time, so for the first two weeks we will continue to offer two services at the normal times of 9 and 10:45 am.  After that we will begin to add additional services as needed to get everyone back to church each week while still honoring the CDC guidelines for social distancing.  We will also continue to livestream all of our services for those who are unable to attend right now.
KidsLife
•On Sunday, June 21st the doors to our Nursery and KidsLife will open and once again be available for your children.  If at that time you are still uncomfortable with your children being in a social setting they may continue to remain with you in the main auditorium.
•All KidsLife leaders will be screened before serving in a classroom and will wear a mask while serving your children.
•All classrooms will have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected; all toys and room areas will be cleaned after each service.
•All children will be screened and have their temperature taken prior to entrance.
•When considering parking and entering the building, it will be most convenient for you and your family to enter through the South Lobby (KidsLife) entrance.
•Please leave all personal items at home – including toys, snacks, blankets, etc. (Bottles and diapers are allowed.)
•If you prefer to keep your children with you, activities for them will be available upon request.
Staff and Volunteers
•All staff and volunteers will be screened upon entry.
•All staff and volunteers will wear masks and gloves when appropriate.
Entrances
•You will be able to enter the building only through the main front lobby doors on the West side of the building.
•All handles and crash bars will be cleaned periodically throughout the day.
•Hand sanitizer will be available for your convenience.
•If you do not have a mask and would like one, we will have some available upon request.
Lobbies/Restrooms
•Please do not congregate in lobbies.
•We ask that at this time you exit the building immediately following the service and fellowship outside the building.
•No water fountains will be open or useable.
•Restrooms will be cleaned continually, all surfaces that can be touched will be wiped down.
Auditorium/Service Time
•Please allow a host to seat you and your family.
•Offering envelopes and pens may be picked up when entering the auditorium. No items will be passed down the row during service.
•Please exit the auditorium quickly while maintaining social distancing at the end of services.
•The auditorium will be closed between services to clean all armrests, doors, handrails, etc.
How Can You Help?
•Please be understanding of the fact that these are unusual times and require adjustments for us all.  This will be the NEW NORM moving forward...at least for a while, so we ask that you work with us as we endeavor to adjust to the consistently changing guidelines.
•If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us online.
•Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.
•We encourage you to wear a mask while on our campus. We will have free disposable masks available at the Connection Booth should you need one.
•Please wash your hands and sanitize often.
•Give a wave or a smile instead of a hug or a handshake.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SUNDAY!!!

LIFE CHURCH CORONAVIRUS UPDATE | MARCH 17, 2020
Life Church Family,

With the ongoing health concerns due to the Coronavirus, the Leadership Team at Life Church has decided to NOT hold public services for the rest of the month of March.  Instead, we are moving all of our services ONLINE.

After prayer and analyzing current updated government mandates, we have chosen to exercise wisdom and honor the request of the federal, state and local leadership to limit intentional gatherings to no more than 10 people in a single space. As your leaders, we believe we have a responsibility to do what is prudent and in the best interest of every person who calls our church home.

While we are saddened to not meet together in our spaces, we value the health and safety of everyone. We believe in being proactive in this time and in leading the way in our community by being steady and responding to this situation with a calm confidence, as we focus on ministering to people in our own church and to all those around us.

Our Leadership Team will continue to monitor the situation day by day and will keep all of you informed as to when our in-person services will resume. Feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook (@thelc.church) or continue to check-in by visiting this page for updates.

Life Church Family, let’s not forget that church is not a building, but a body of believers. We are a family and each one of us makes up the church. So, as a church, we now have an opportunity to gather together online each weekend to get updates, engage in the message, respond in worship and to get opportunities to give towards people who are in need in this community!

We know God is not at all surprised by what’s happening, and we believe He has a plan and that He is going to use His church in some powerful ways in the lives of people around us.

Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Our services will be available on multiple platforms this weekend, so we hope you will join us.

Be sure to follow us on Social Media as we will have daily updates, worship, devotions and links to all sorts of resources and happenings here at Life Church!

Sincerely,
Your Pastors and the Leadership Team at Life Church
